Farmers Co-op

The Farmers Cooperative Elevator Company of Rushford, Houston, Caledonia and Spring Grove recently announced it enjoyed record sales of  68.9 million dollars.

That total is an increase of nearly 30 percent over the previous year and provided net savings of 2.25-million dollars, which is a record.

The Caledonia Argus reports that during its 108th Annual Meeting of the Stockholders in Rushford on November 17th,  an auditor with Carlson Highland & Co. LLP reported that the co-op is being run efficiently and had excellent operating results.

The auditor also reviewed major fixed asset additions, including additional grain weighing, drying and storage facilities in Rushford, and complimented the board on updating the plant and equipment to better meet the needs of members.
