Theft From Vehicle

Winona Police continue to advise residents to lock vehicles overnight and not leave any valuables inside.

Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said a 24 year old Winona man reported on Saturday his vehicle was entered and items removed included a laptop computer, headphones, a wireless computer mouse, and $200 in cash.

Williams said the man told officers he left his vehicle unlocked with the window down and the keys in the ignition.  Police received the report about 1:20 a.m. Saturday.
