Burglary

Winona police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred Monday in the 550 block of East Fourth Street.

Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said a man reported he was gone from the locked residence between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. and when he returned he discovered several items missing.

They included a laptop computer, both a 37 inch and a 43 inch flat screen television, a USB computer cable, four decorative swords, and two plastic water jogs containing coins.  The items had a total value of over $2,200.

Williams said there was no obvious sign of a forced entry.
