The Winona High girls lost another close game falling to 8th ranked Caledonia 52-46. The Winhawks tied the game at 43 with three and half minutes to go but the Warriors finished the game on a 9-3 run. Turnovers were a big problem for the Winhawks as they turned it over 32 times. Ellen Blacklock and Audrey Scharmer both had double-doubles for the Winhawks. Blacklock had 16 points and 12 rebounds while Scharmer finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Winona High drops to 0-4.

Cotter lost to Kenyon-Wanamingo 68-52. Paige Gernes had 12 points and Kathleen Bowlin and Jo Beyer both had 10. Cotter falls to 1-2 with the loss.
