KTTC.com reports Christian Alexander admitted in court that he stole more than $6,000 from McDonald's restaurants in Winona, Byron and Rochester in 2010 and 2011.
Alexender was also accused by authorities of threatening McDonald employees with a gun.
His sentence was part of a plea agreement.
