SEMAC Grants



On November 20th, the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, Inc. awarded 45 grants for a total of $261,581 in funding to applicants throughout southeastern Minnesota.
              
Grants received in Winona County include the Frozen River Film Festival who received a $10,000 Arts & Cultural Heritage grant for the 2013 Frozen River Film Festival and the Great River Shakespeare Festival who got a $8,605 grant for 2013 Concerts on the Green Series.

The Minnesota Marine Art Museum received a $6,855 dollar grant for Youth Art Month Programming with the MMAM.

Both Rochester Arts Council and Ronald McDonald House of Rochester each received $10,000 Arts & Cultural Heritage grants.   

Other organizations that received grants include the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center in Fillmore County who received a 9-thousand, 750 dollar grant for the Stringwood Music Festival and the Lanesboro Art Center who was awarded an 8-thousand, 950 dollar grant for the Lanesboro Artist Residency Project.
