The Light Up Winona event is sponsored by the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals.
Chairman Ed Hahn told the crowd of three dozen or so people that the christmas spirit in the community is growing and so is the new lighting ceremony tradition.
The ceremony featured holiday music, refreshments and a prize drawing.
This year featured expanded lighting display and they will remain lit through the beginning of March.
