The Cotter boys’ basketball team rolled last night at home against LeRoy-Ostrander, destroying the Cardinals 81-34.  Jon Eichman led Cotter with 20 points and Marcell Brown added 16. Cotter is now 2-0 on the season.

The Rushford-Peterson boys used a 13-0 run early in the second half and pulled away from St. Charles 69-51. Alex Vix hit three three-pointers and finished with 19 points.

Lewiston-Altura lost to Southland 70-58 despite 23 points from Josh Ehlenfedlt.

Cochrane-Fountain City used good defense to beat Independence 49-39. Cale Lisowski had 17 points for the Pirates.

In girls’ basketball G-E-T lost to Westby 42-29. Annalese Lamke had 18 of G-E-T’s 29 points.
