The Canadian Pacific Holiday Lighted Train will be making a stop in Winona Monday as its makes it way across the United States during the Christmas season.
The train will stop at Winona's Amtrak Station at 5:15 p.m. and the stop also coincides with the Merchants Bank's Ten Days of Giving food drive for the local foodshelves. The CP will also be making a donation to the local food drive and Winona Volunteer Services Executive Director, Sandra Burke, calls it a good thing.
There is no charge to see the train but organizers are asking that you bring a can of non-perishable food for the food drive. There will also be entertainment plus an appearance by Santa Claus
On its way west the train will also be stopping in Wabasha and Lake City Monday.
