SE Tech-Food Delay



Minnesota State College--Southeast Technical says weather delayed two semi-trucks from heading off loaded with toys, clothing and furniture to deliver to the Santee Sioux reservation in Nebraska and the Crow Creek Indian reservation in South Dakota.
                 
The students and faculty will depart instead Tuesday at 8:00  a.m. from the Winona campus and deliver the items to the reservations.

In addition, Nate Emerson, VP Student Affairs and Jim Johnson, College President, did leave Monday a pickup truck  filled with supplies and headed to the Crow Creek reservation.

Some years ago the college established a relationship with these two tribes through the Winona Dakota Unity Alliance and has been bringing loads of toys, clothes and furniture every December since..
