Wisconsin -Milk



The average milk price paid to Wisconsin farmers in November rose 30 cents to $23.40 per hundred pounds of production, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
    
Wisconsin's dairy price was a dollar and 30-cents higher than the national average. The lowest milk price was $19.40 per hundredweight in California.

Milk in Wisconsin was bringing $20.40 on average a year ago, some $3 less than what dairy farmers are now making, according to dairy agriculture statistics.

In other farm prices, corn in Wisconsin was selling for an average $6.30 per bushel in November, 55 cents ahead of a year ago.
  
Soybeans were selling for an average $13.50 per bushel price in November, down 40 cents from October, yet $1.60 higher than a year ago.
Alfalfa hay in Wisconsin sold for an average $190 per ton in November, up $25 from October and $60 above prices paid a year ago.
