Kris Nibbelink is the Winona Senior High School's advisor for the student council. She says the school will be holding raffles at Thursday's basketball game, swim meet and hockey game to collect more donations.

Merchant's Bank volunteer Tammy Johnson says the first day of pickups was a successful one as they collected about 2,400 Pounds of food and cash at the Winona Middle School alone.

The donations go to the Winona County Foodshelves operated by Winona Volunteer Services.
