Altra's Vice President of Marketing, Cheryl Dutton, said the funds come from Altra's "Drive Away Hunger" campaign. Dutton said said Winona Volunteer Services was chosen for the contribution because of the job it does year around for the community.
Dutton said Altra federal raised a total of $16,000 nationally in its "Drive Away Hunger" program. That included money raised at four locations including here in Winona, La Crosse, Tennessee. and Texas. In La Crosse, Altra partnered with the Hunger Task Force.
