Western Technical College in La Crosse has received a $689,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
                      
The grant is part of the $14.9 million in grants awarded to the Wisconsin Technical College System to be divided among the 16 colleges.  Western Technical College will use the money, dispersed over three years, to develop a new career path for its Industrial Electronics Maintenance program.
                      
The state of Wisconsin received the funds through the US Department of Labor.
