Lakeside Foods in Plainview will be getting a $69,000 rebate from Alliant Energy.
                
The Plainview News reports the funds are the result of Lakeside Foods installing new equipment and new technologies to increase efficiency in the plant's production of frozen vegetables.
                
The paper says the new equipment will save an estimated 479,000 kilowatt hours of energy which is enough to power 49 average Minnesota homes in one year.  The new equipment was installed this year.
