Today is the big day for Winona Volunteer Services as the planned day for distribution of Christmas dinner baskets...and while the weather is not cooperating executive Director Sandra Burke says there is no cause to worry. If you are a food shelf client and the weather is keeping you from today's distribution, don't worry...come in tomorrow.
Thanks to the generosity of Winona Lions and other donors food shelf clients don't have to worry about being able to afford a special dinner for the holidays. The holiday baskets can be picked up either today or tomorrow.
