A commercial fisherman from Wabasha will be one of the hosts of a new original series on the Outdoor Channel that premiere's next week.

Tim Adams will appear on the new show Bottom Feeders, which airs starting Thursday, January 3rd at 10:00 p.m. central time.

According to the network's website, Bottom Feeders will follow the lives of three teams of commercial fisherman, including Adams, as they battle Mother Nature and each other to bring in "the big haul".

Adams has recently worked with the Minnesota DNR in attempts to locate Asian carp in the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers.

One of the other co-hosts of Bottom Feeders is Mike Johnson, who grew up near La Crosse.
