Winona High Girls' Hockey Team Wins Big, Boys Lose In Shootout

The Winona High girls' hockey team pounded New Richmond at the Sertoma Shootout 10-4. Carly Moran scored five of the ten Winhawk goals while Emily Thesing added two goals.
The Winona High boys’ hockey team lost a big lead and fell to Marshall 4-3 in a shootout at the Schwan’s Cup. The Winhawks scored three second period goals to take a 3-0 lead into the third period but Marshall scored three times in the third to send it into OT.
