A house near Lewiston may be a total loss after a fire broke out late Friday morning.
According to KTTC.com, the home, located on County Road 25 and owned by Ted and Beth Hess, was reported on fire around 11:45 a.m. Friday.
No one was inside at the time and two family pets made it out of the home without injury.
Lewiston fire chief Charlie Matzke says he believe the fire may have been started by a wood stove.
Ted Hess is the assistant chief of the Lewiston Fire Department.
