Authorities said a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Megan Salava of Strum struck the rear of a second vehicle driven by Dylan Franson of Strum on Highway 10 in the Town of Unity just before 6:00 p.m. Friday.
The impact caused a third vehicle driven by 20-year-old Keegan Achtziger of Beaver Dam to collide with the Salava vehicle. The highway was icy at the time.
Salava was taken by ambulance to an Eau Claire hospital. She was also cited for having a suspended drivers license and open intoxicants in the vehicle. Achtziger was cited with having no insurance.
