Winona Police said a 20 year old Winona man was jailed Tuesday on preliminary charges of fifth degree assault causing fear.
                   
Deputy Chief Tom Williams said Konor Joseph Schuster is accused of assaulting a 20 year old woman at Schuster's residence in the 100 block of West Third Street.  Williams said the woman reported she struck her head on a wall when she was pushed backwards. Schuster told officers she had punched him during the disagreement.
