Frozen River Festival
The Winona State University campus will come alive later this month when the university hosts the annual Frozen River Film Festival.
The event runs from January 23rd through he 27th, and will feature 40 films, plus workshops, speakers and musical performances.
Spokesperson Kathy Florin says one of the featured films will be 'Ethel' which is up for an Academy Award this year. Florin also says the festival is still looking for volunteers to help out such as tech people, ushers, and ticket takers.
The headquarters for the event will be in the WSU Science building where you can get information, tickets, and a schedule of events.
