Destroyed Kiosk--Reward

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of the person responsible for the destruction of an informational kiosk at the entrance to Aghaming Park.

The Friends of the Refuge Headwaters says the kiosk was burned last month sometime between December 16th and 24th.

The kiosk, which focused on the newly developed canoe trail around Aghaming, was "unveiled" in June as part of the Steamboat Days celebration. The kiosk represented the first joint project between the City of Winona and Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge on Aghaming Park.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Federal Wildlife Officer Rob Hirschboeck at 608-769-7174.  All information will be kept confidential.
You can also contact Winona Area Crime Stoppers at 454-6530 where you will remain anonymous and be eligible for a separate reward.
