Farmers in southeastern Minnesota have a chance to hear from ag experts this week at a special event.
The University of Minnesota, Southern Research and Outreach Center (SROC) annual Winter Crops Days is coming to Caledonia.
Producers, farm managers, ag consultants and salespeople, or others interested in learning more about sustainable practices for ag production can attend Wednesday, January 16th at the Good Times Restaurant in Caledonia.
The event features the crop year in review and a summary of what role the 2012 weather had on crop production and how the dry fall conditions may impact this year's crop.
Cost for the event is $35 and includes morning refreshments, lunch and handout materials. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
