State Representative Greg Davids says he has some concerns about the state healthcare insurance exchange legislation unveiled at the capital last week.
Davids is one of only two Republicans who signed on to the bill and he told Winona Radio News he has concerns about the proposal's lack of accountability. Davids also says he is on the bill to make sure the problems are worked out before the healthcare exchange is implemented this year.
Democrats said last week they expect about 1.2 million Minnesotans...or one out of five...to obtain health care through the exchange, which is a key piece of carrying out the federal healthcare overhaul.
