Cochrane Village President Dave Busch was nominated for re-election to a two-year term as well as three incumbent trustees running unopposed for at-large seats on the spring ballot April 2nd.
    
Trustees Shawn Auman, Tim Bossert and Greg Hofer were nominated for re-election at a caucus held by the village board.

Outside of village board officials, only one person attended the caucus and village trustees took turns nominating incumbents to run on the spring ballot.

Cochrane Village Clerk Sherry Lorenz said up to six candidates could have been chosen to be on the ballot for three trustee terms up for election to two-year terms. Up to two candidates can run on the ballot for village president.

The village uses a caucus system for choosing candidates to run for office.
