18-year-old Erik Patterson of Gordon, Wis., was sentenced to a year of probation in Buffalo County Circuit Court after pleading no contest to an amended charge of misdemeanor 4th degree sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.
The offense was amended from felony 2nd degree sexual assault. A complaint filed against Patterson said the offense happened in Buffalo City in October.
Patterson was ordered to pay court costs and avoid contacting the girl.
