The Cotter girls’ basketball team pulled off an upset last night beating Kasson-Mantorville 62-56. The Komets were all alone in first place in the HVL Gold Division prior to last night’s game. Paige Gernes led Cotter with 16 points and 6 steals and Jo Beyer added 12 points. Cotter moves to 7-10 overall and 3-3 in the Gold Division and the Ramblers are now just a game out of first place in the conference.

The Cotter boys’ basketball team got its first HVL Gold Division win beating Kasson-Mantorville 59-52. Jon Eichman scored 20 points and the Ramblers forced 26 turnovers.   Cotter moves to 7-7 overall and 1-5 in the Gold Division.
