Among the recent appearances in Buffalo County Circuit Court....

25-year-old Brandon Emmons of Winona, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for aggravated battery and must pay 11-thousand-914 dollars in restitution and court costs.

After his release from prison, Emmons will serve three years on extended supervision by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and Parole. The restrictions  include 500 hours of community service work, counseling, no bars or taverns and absolute sobriety.

Emmons also was convicted of possessing marijuana. He was credited for 200 days already served in jail.
