The bipartisan bill reforms the visa system to help ensure the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs get their start in America, regardless of where they are from.
Klobachar says the legislation would revamp the H-1B visa and employment-based green cards systems to meet the demand of the high-tech economy and improve protections for workers. It would also make major investments in STEM education and worker retraining programs in the U-S.
It's a bipartisan bill.
