Winona Mayor Mark Peterson says he is getting close to announcing the members of a new citizen's committee to examine development of Levee Park and the downtown area.
             
It was an issue Peterson brought up frequently in his campaign for mayor last year and he told a Winona Radio audience last week he wants the committee to begin its work soon.  The council's next meeting will be this coming Monday, February 4th.
