The Winona High boys’ hockey team lost in overtime to Rochester Century 3-2. Andrew Yeske was busy in net with 38 saves but the Winhawks fall to 8-9-1 overall and 3-7-1 in the Big Nine Conference.

Rochester Century doubled up the Winona High girls’ 6-3. Rachael Nelson had 2 goals for the Winhawks but they drop to 8-15 and they are 6-10 in conference play.

The Winona High wrestling team lost twice last night falling to United South Central 66-9 and then to Madelia 54-22. Will Krageschmidt and Chris Wisted both won two matches for the Winhawks.

Cochrane-Fountain City lost to Independence/Gilmanton 54-0.

The Winona High boys’ swim team lost to Rochester Mayo 91-80. Hodd Gorman won both the 200 and 500 freestyle events and he was also swam a leg on the winning 400 meter freestyle relay.
