The annual Goose Bump Jump is Saturday, February 9th, at the Lake Park Lodge at noon and involves participants taking a jump into the frigid lake for a good cause.
Pam Pfister with the Winona Park and Recreation, says proceeds go for scholarships for participation in Park Recreation programs and activities.
Pfister invites people to come out and support the jumpers even if they are not participating themselves.
In 2011, 189 people jumped and last year there were 147 jumpers raising over $2,800 for the cause.
If you'd like to take part it cost's $20 to take the leap.
