A Cotter High School senior has advanced in the AAA Award competition.
                
Jacob Johnson was chosen as the Sub-Region Three winner and will advance, along with three other sub-region winners, to the Region 1A competition that recognizes students in the area of Academics, the Arts, and Athletics.
               
A Region 1A committee on February 13th, will select the Regional winner which will advance on to the state competition.  The winner of the State AAA award, in Class A and AA will be announced during the boys state high school basketball tournament on March 23rd.
