CEO Rachelle Schultz told a Winona Radio audience Winona Health will be a player in the exchanges but still needs more information as the state legislature creates a Minnesota healthcare exchange of its own. Schultz said the exchanges will change the marketplace alot but Winona Health is preparing for that and will remain an independent organization.
The legislature continues to address the health insurance exchange issue but must have a final product in place by the end of this year.
