Winona Senior High School will have a special day coming up this Saturday afternoon when the Winhawk boys’ basketball team takes on Mankato East. The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. with an alumni basketball tournament that will run until 1:00. A junior varsity game will be played at 1:00 with the varsity game set for 3:00. At about 2:45 there will be a special ceremony unveiling the new Wall of Champions, which is located in the hallway leading to the gymnasium.

At halftime of the varsity game there will be a dedication ceremony for the new renovations in the gymnasium. A new floor, new bleachers and two new scoreboards were put earlier this year.

The day will wrap up with the championship game of the alumni basketball tournament following the varsity game.
