First District Congressman Tim Walz has been named vice-chair of the congressional Sportsmen's Caucus, a bipartisan group of more than 250 members of Congress.
The Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus was established in 1989 to promote issues important to millions of hunters and anglers across the country.
Walz said as a life-long hunter he was honored to help lead this caucus because he looks forward to working with fellow sportsmen in Congress to protect the natural state treasures and promote the strong hunting and fishing heritage.
