Winona State senior Clayton Vette has been named the NSIC’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 29.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a pair of contests last weekend. This is the second consecutive week Vette has earned the league’s player of the week honor.

Vette began his weekend with 28 points on 9-of-14 shooting in the No. 12 Warriors’ loss at St. Cloud State on Friday. He followed with a career-best 31 points on 10-of-16 shooting the next night in a victory over Minnesota Duluth.
