The Minnesota House this week passed a Tax Conformity bill that would extend recently enacted federal tax deductions to Minnesota residents who file a state tax return.
               
House Tax Chair DFLer Ann Lenczewski says the bill will add convenience and needed tax relief to an estimated 200,000 a variety of middle class taxpayers including teachers.  Republican Steve Drazkowski says it also benefits those who prepare your taxes.  The Senate has yet to pass its Tax Conformity bill.
