An estimated crowd of 2,000 enjoyed chili from 21 area businesses as well as entertainment.
Jenny Baertsch, Marketing Coordinator at the bank, says the proceeds go to Ready Set School to ensure all Winona County children have the basic and necessary school supplies ....
Baertsch says last year's event raised about $4,700 and 500 families and almost 1,000 students were helped last year.
Charlies D & D won the Mild category, with 2nd place going to Ground Round. In the Spicy category, it was Hyvee taking 1st place and 2nd place went to Winona Health Catering.
Public votes were compiled for the Public Tasters' Choice Award, which was awarded to Blooming Grounds for their spicy chili.
