Minnesota Rep. John Kline isn't ruling out a run for U.S. Senate next year but says his decision won't come until this summer.
Kline was in Wabasha County Tuesday for stops in Lake City and Wabasha. He told Winona Radio News he is too busy now with a number of issues like upcoming decisions on automatic budget cuts and a continuing resolution to make a final decision on a Senate run.
Kline is among those mentioned as potential rivals to Democratic Sen. Al Franken, who will be up for a second term in 2014.
Kline has represented a southeastern Minnesota district for 10 years...adding Wabasha County to his district this year...and is chairman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee.
Fellow GOP Rep. Erik Paulsen isn't ruling out a run either.
