The Winona High boys’ hockey team opened up the Section 1AA playoffs last night with a 4-2 victory over Dodge County. The Winhawks scored three second period goals to take control of the game and they had four different players score a goal. The win snaps a nine-game winless streak and improves their record to 9-15-2. Winona High will travel to top seed Lakeville North on Thursday night for their next section game.
