The Winona State men’s basketball team is ranked first in the first NCAA Division II Central Region rankings of the season. The NSIC has the top four teams in the region with Minnesota State-Mankato, Augustana and St. Cloud State following Winona State in the rankings. If Winona State wins the rest of their games, including the NSIC tournament, the Warriors would host the NCAA Central Region tournament in March.

Nationally, Winona State is 18th in this week’s NABC Division II rankings which is down three spots from last week.
