WSU Men and Women Go To Overtime



The Winona State men’s basketball team lost Saturday night to Augustana in overtime 81-78. The loss means that Minnesota State-Mankato claims the NSIC regular season title and Winona State drops to second. Winona State is 23-6 overall and they will host the University of Mary on Wednesday night in the opening round of the NSIC tournament starting at 8:00.

The Winona State women also went to overtime but the Warriors claimed a 67-64 win over the 23rd ranked Vikings. Marieanna Dulas led the Warriors with 14 points including four three-pointers. Winona State is 19-10 on the season and the Warriors will host Minnesota-Duluth Wednesday night in the opening round of the NSIC tournament.
