The Winona State baseball team picked up a pair of shutout wins against UW-Parkside Sunday. Brandon Verthein threw five scoreless innings in game one as the Warriors won 5-0. Four different pitchers threw in the second game and Winona State held on for a 1-0 win. The Warriors have now thrown three straight shutouts to improve to 3-3.

The Winona State softball team blew out Truman State yesterday 12-4 to improve to 4-0 on the season. Morgan Lintz was 3 for 4 with a homerun and six RBIs and Ashley Walker homered and got the win on the mound.
