WSU Flasher

Winona Police are asking for the public's help in getting more information about a flasher seen in the Winona State University area.

Police Sargent Chris Nelson said a woman reported last Saturday that she was approached in the 9th and Grand Street area about 10:30 p.m. by a man wearing a long tan trench coat.  Nelson said the woman reported the man opened the coat and was clad only in a black bra.

The woman then fled the area and said the man was last seen walking east on 9th street.  She described the man as being in his 60s, with shorter white hair, a scruffy stubble beard, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and no glasses.  Nelson said police have received other reports of a flasher in the WSU area with a similar description.

They are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call the Law Enforcement Center.  You can also call Winona Area Crime Stoppers at 457-6530 where you can remain anonymous and be eligible for a possible reward.
