The Cotter boys’ basketball team saw its season come to an end last night in the Section 1AA East Sub-Section semifinals falling to Plainview-Elgin-Millville 59-53. The Ramblers’ defense forced 26 turnovers but their offense struggled to 28 percent shooting including 20 percent in the first half. Kyle Kerrigan led the Ramblers with 17 points and Jon Eichman added 10.

Cotter finishes the season 15-12, their first winning season sine 2009. The Ramblers will graduate six seniors from this year’s team including their top two scorers Jon Eichman and Charlie Kretschmer.
