The Trempealeau County Times reports the Arcadia City Council has approved a $391,000 contract for construction of the Joyce A. Wanek Pavilion in Schank Park. $300,000 of the funds have been donated by the Wanek Family which also owns Ashley Furniture Industries.
Construction of the new pavilion is expected to be completed by next August when it will be dedicated during the annual Ashley for the Arts event.
