Republican State Representative Steve Drazkowski is criticizing majority democrats for delaying work on important issues like the budget - to focus on divisive issues like forcing child care providers to unionize.
Drazkowski says it's another example of trying to give unions more power in the state.
Drazkowski says the child care providers he's spoken to are against the idea of being forced to join a union and daycare in the state doesn't need fixing.
Drazkowski says it's likely that child care costs to parents would rise if the bill forcing 10,000 child care workers to unionize gets signed into law.
The house bill is currently making its way through committee.
