The Winona ReStore and Habitat for Humanity Winona - Fillmore Counties are hosting a one-day repurposing event this coming Saturday, April 6th called "Your Home: ReStyled, RePurposed, ReVived!"
The event will be held at the Winona National Guard Armory and Training Center on Homer Road, and will feature; local vendors selling repurposed home furnishings, items from the Winona and La Crosse ReStores, and repurposing demonstrations. Demonstrations will start every 45 minutes on a variety of Do It Yourself Projects.
Admission to the show is $5 at the door, but tickets can be purchased through Friday, April 5th at the discounted price of $3 each, or 2 for $5. These pre-sale tickets are available at the Winona ReStore, Habitat for Humanity office, and Pieces of the Past in downtown Winona.
Kids at the show will have a chance to do their own simple repurposing DIY project. Everyone under 18 is admitted to the show free of charge.
Silent auction items have been donated by ReStore Repurposing Contest participants. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity Winona - Fillmore Counties. Habitat is finishing construction of two homes this spring and will begin constructing a single family home on Front Street this fall.
